Whilst one in two of us will develop some form of cancer at some point in our lives, each person’s cancer diagnosis and experience is unique.   

Whatever your questions or concerns about cancer - the side effects of treatment, anxiety, diet, exercise, wigs, or money worries – tailored information and support is available in person, over the phone or via email from the cancer information and support teams based in our NHS Trusts:

Macmillan Cancer Support National Helpline 

The Macmillan Cancer Support National Helpline offers confidential information, support and practical advice to people living with cancer and their loved ones. Call free on 0808 134 31 57, from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week.

Cancer Research UK 

Cancer Research UK offers a nurse telephone helpline, a cancer chat support forum, and online information on cancer types, treatments and coping afterwards.
